Inauguration Ceremony of IPL Season 2024: AR Rahman, Akshay Kumar, likely to perform at MA Chidambaram Stadium.

Preparations are in full swing at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, which also had previously the privilege to host the IPL opening ceremony many times in past. The season organizer and the stadium authority will make the occasion more and more entertaining this year. This year the opening ceremony is expected to feature a lesser shows, which was earlier witnessed at the ICC ODI World Cup.

The Indian Premier League has once again returned for another season, like every year, this year IPL 2024 will start with a star-studded inauguration ceremony. The champions of last season-2023, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), will be facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the opening IPL 2024 match on March 22 at the M A Chidambaram International Cricket Stadium in Chennai.

IPL 2024 Opening Ceremony is going to be elevation in the quality of cricket and glamour as the BCCI are  planning a grand Opening Ceremony before the season's  opening match between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on 22nd March.

According to reports, Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff are likely to perform at the event on the inaugural ceremony of IPL-2024 and also music composer AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam are also to perform at the grand opening ceremony of IPL 2024.

The opening ceremony would begin at 6:30 PM IST, Just one hour before the inaugural match between the two teams CSK and RCB. The event can be viewed live on the Star Sports Network. The event can be also be watched on the live streaming of event on the JioCinema app and website.
