The Mumbai Indians have officially secured their spot in the WPL 2023 finals, where they will face off against the Delhi Capitals on March 26, 2023, at Brabourne Stadium. During the MI vs UPW match at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai Indians emerged victorious with a 72-run lead over UPW. Isabelle Wong made an impressive hat-trick, while Natalie Sciver's outstanding performance in both batting and bowling led the team to the finals. UP Warriorz won the toss and chose to field first. Mumbai Indians scored 189 runs, losing 4 wickets, which proved too much for UP Warriorz to match, resulting in their exit from the WPL 2023 Season. Natali Sciver played a stunning innings of 72 runs for 38 balls, including nine boundaries and two sixers, while also taking the wicket of Grace Harris and catching Kiran Navgire. Amelia Kerr scored 29 runs for 19 balls, and Captain Harmanpreet Kaur scored 14 runs in today's match.

MI's Isabelle Wong achieved a remarkable feat by completing her first-ever hat-trick. She took the wickets of Kiran Navgire, Simran Shaikh, and Sophie Eccslestone. Additionally, Wong sent Allysa Healy back to the pavilion. Saika Ishaque also contributed to the team's success by taking two wickets, while Natalie Sciver, Kalita, and Matthews each took one wicket. Unfortunately, UPW's top order failed to deliver in today's match, and the team only managed to score 46 runs on the loss of three wickets during the powerplay. Although Kiran Navgire's aggressive batting of 43 runs for 27 balls raised hopes for the team, she eventually returned to the pavilion. Navgire's innings included three sixers and four boundaries.
