WPL 2023 7th Match: MI-W vs DC-W; Match today on 9th March will begin at 7.30 PM at DY Patil Stadium

The 7th match of WPL 2023 will be played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals will be played at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. The match will begin at 7.30 PM.

Both the Team have played 2-2 matches so far in the tournament and have won their matches against the rival teams. MI and DC are on the first and second positions on the points table respectively. 

In the seasons inaugural match played between MI and GG, MI defeated GG with the huge difference of 143 runs. MI in their second match with RCB, on the verge of only 1 wicket loss, MI Indians easily won the match against RCB. Check the complete glimpse of MI vs GG match here.



On the other hand, DC is also perfoming well in the season. In their first match played against RCB, they defeated them by 60 runs and registered their first victory in the tournament. Today Harmanpreet Kaur's MI and Meg Lanning's DC will face each other for the first time at DY Patil Stadium. Both the Teams are stable and looks into good shape. This will going to be a strong battle today as who will continue their winning streak today is the question that everyone is looking for.

Mumbai Indians franchise overseas players Natalie Sciver, Amelia Kerr and Matthews are performing well and their form is going very well which is a very good sign for MI team. MI also has good fast bowler options which include Indian all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar, Tryon and Wong etc. 



Weakness of MI 
The biggest weakness of the MI franchise is seen in their spin bowlers as MI does not have a single good Indian bowler in the form of spin.  
As overlooked, the MI franchise does not have any other good Indian fast bowler except Pooja Vastrakar. The tournament for the MI franchise will see some shortcomings in both the fast bowlers and spin bowlers.

DC has the lack of batting depth. No hard hitter in lower down order.
