WPL 2023 14th Match Highlights: DC-W vs GG-W; Gujarat Giants won by 11 runs

In the 14th Match played between Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Giants at Brabourne Stadium, Gujarat Giants defeated Delhi Capitals by 11 runs and registered their second victory in the Tournament. In the previous five matches played by Gujarat Giants, they conquered only 1 against RCB. 

With their today’s second win in the tournament, they are hoping to make it to the playoffs. 

DC captain Meg Lanning won the toss and opted to field first. GG scored 147 runs in 20 overs after losing 4 wickets. Laura (57) and Ashleigh (51) scored unbeaten half century in the match.

DC’s Jase took 2 wickets while Marian took 1 wicket.

Chasing 148 runs, Delhi Capitals could score 136 runs in 18.4 overs and became all out. Only Marian could make 36 runs in the match.

GG’s Kim, Tanuja and Ashleigh took 2-2 wickets each.
