WPL 2023 13th Match Highlights: RCB-W vs UPW-W; RCB registered their first win WPL tournament

The 13th Match played between Royal Challengers Bangalore vs UP Warriorz at DY Patils Stadium was in the name of RCB for the first time in WPL. RCB won their match against UPW by 5 wickets. Out of the 6 matches played against all the WPL Teams, this was the first time RCB won the match. RCB got the ray of hope to enter into the Playoff with today’s victory. On the other hand, UPW lost their third match out of the 5 matches they played in the tournament. 

RCB won the toss and opted to field first. UPW in the 19.3 overs of the game scored 135 runs by losing 10 wickets. RCB conquered the target in 18 overs by losing 5 wickets. Kanika Ahuja played the superior innings of 46 runs. The top order of the Bangalore Team did not perform well Divine (15), Mandhana (0) and Perry (10) returned to the pavilion.

UPW’s Deepti Sharma took 2 wickets. Harris, Ecclestone and Vaidya took 1-1 wickets each.

Grace Harris and Deepti Sharma of UPW took the Team score to 100 while playing in good partnership. Their Top order was also proven failed in today’s match. RCB’s Perry took 3 wickets, Devine and Sobhana took 1-1 wickets each.
