Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Highlights: South Africa vs New Zealand; South Africa beat New Zealand by 65 runs

When the coin was tossed in the air, it fell in the favor of South Africa and the Captain chose to bat first.
Even after winning the toss and electing to bat, South Africa did not start well and their first wicket fell down for just 3 runs.



After adding only 10 runs, the second wicket was also fell down. It was felt at that moment, South Africa may have made a wrong decision by choosing to bat first, but after that, dice turned out to be in favor when Tryon and Luus pair came to the crease and made a good partnership.

Tryon scored 40 runs in 34 balls while playing a brilliant innings.

With the help of a brilliant innings of Tryon and Nadine de klerk, South Africa's reached to a respectable score of 132 runs.



Presenting the view of excellent bowling from New Zealand, Eden Carson and Tahuhu took two wickets each.
To save South Africa's target of 132 runs, it was necessary to take the wickets in the beginning of New Zealand, the wicket was fell down in the very first over.
There was not a single good partnership played between the New Zealand players which led to this.  New Zealand were able to score only just 67 runs and South Africa got a big win.

For South Africa, the Tryon, showing all-round performance, scored 40 runs and took 2 wickets, due to which he was given the man of the match.
