Match 15 of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup was played between Australia vs South Africa at the St George's Park, Gqeberha.
Australia Women won the toss and decided to bowl first.
South Africa's openers shared a good partnership of 54 runs for the first wicket. Brits scored 45 runs in 36 balls while playing an important innings.
Apart from Brits, none of the batsmen played a good innings due to which the South African team could score only 124 runs in 20 overs. Australia's Wareham bowled well taking 2 wickets and Gardner, Perry, Brown and Schrute took one wicket each.
Chasing 124 runs, the Australian team got the first blow in the form of Parry for 24 runs. Australia also lost their second wicket as their captain for just 29 runs.
Gardner and McGrath added 81 runs for the fourth wicket. McGrath played an excellent inning of 57 runs in 33 balls to win his team. McGrath was adjudged player of the match.
