The eighth match of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup took place at the ST George Park Stadium, Gqeberha, where Bangladesh Women faced off against Australia Women. Bangladesh Women won the toss and elected to bat first. However, they faced early setbacks, only managing to score 7 and 11 runs. The team lost their first wicket when Shamina Sultan got dismissed, followed by Murshida Khatun. Nigar Sultana, Bangladesh's Captain, stepped onto the field after the fall of two wickets. She displayed excellent performance by scoring a half-century and leading her team's score to 107 by making 57 runs in 50 balls.

Bangladesh Women's Team had a tough time during their match against Australia. Despite the captain's commendable performance, the team struggled to score due to consistent wickets falling on one end. Unfortunately, no player from the Bangladesh team managed to score even a double-digit number, resulting in a target of only 107 runs. The Australian bowlers performed exceptionally well, with Wareham taking three wickets for just 20 runs in four overs. Darcie Brown took two wickets, while Megan Schutt and Gardner took one wicket each.

Australia successfully chased down the target of 107 runs against Bangladesh in 18.2 overs with the loss of only 2 wickets. The first wicket fell early in the form of Mooney for just 9 runs, but Captain Lanning and wicketkeeper Healy played a good partnership to secure the win. Lanning scored an unbeaten 48 off 50 balls while Healy contributed 37 runs off 36 balls. The Australian Team's all-round performance in both bowling and batting departments helped them clinch the victory. Georgia Wareham, who took 3 wickets, was awarded the Man of the Match title.
