Preparations of Indian Cricket Team ahead of Border - Gavaskar Trophy 2023 Kickstarts

The Indian Cricket Team has begun their preparations for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on Friday, 3rd February 2023. The four match Test Series between India and Australia is scheduled to start from Thursday, 9th February 2023 at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. 

Many Indian batsmen were seen practicing in the nets as the pictures shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav were among the batsmen seen undergoing practice.


 

The first match will be played under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul will accompany as Vice-Captain to the Team. The Indian Cricket Team is practicing under the Supervision of former Captain Rahul Dravid.

In an interview Rahul Dravid said " Everyone looks in really good shape. It's nice to get the Test Team together again."
