The Patel brothers, Ankit, Keval, Ronik, and Priyank, brought their revolutionary Nachos brand "Makino" to the Shark Tank. Makino stands out by combining Indian Snacks with Mexican Dishes, creating a unique fusion of flavors. Their Nachos come in eight different flavors, including innovative combinations like Soya plus Flex seed, which provides a high protein content of 16% per packet.

Makino's Nachos are prepared with 40% less oil and contain 0% cholesterol and trans fats, making them a healthier alternative to traditional snacks. In addition to Nachos, Makino also offers Corn Chips, Corn Twists, and Roasted Peanuts in various flavors.

Since their launch in 2018, Makino's products have gained popularity and are now available in over 17,000 retail stores, their website, and marketplaces in fifteen different countries. The Sharks were impressed by the taste of the Nachos and recognized the potential for success in the competitive snack market.

Trunome - Diagnosis and Monitoring Platform for Chronic Diseases

Agragesh and Avinash from Chennai presented their patented tech platform, Trunome, which focuses on the early diagnosis and monitoring of chronic diseases. Traditionally, identifying chronic diseases without invasive procedures like biopsies was a challenging and costly process. Trunome aims to change that by offering a blood sample collecting test that enables early detection and timely medication for patients.

With over five thousand samples tested for more than fifteen hundred patients and contracts with six hospitals, Trunome has already made significant strides in the medical field. Their success is further emphasized by the involvement of three renowned doctors who have become shareholders in the company.

In the fiscal year 2021-22, Trunome generated revenue of ₹5Cr, with an equal split between COVID tests and chronic disease tests. The Sharks recognized the potential impact of Trunome's technology and offered a combined investment of ₹1.5Cr for 2% equity, sealing the deal.

WOL3D - Consumer 3D Printing Brand

Saloni, Pradeep, Swati, and Rahul brought their consumer 3D printing brand, WOL3D, to the Shark Tank. Recognizing a gap in the Indian market, WOL3D offers a range of products, including 3D printers, 3D filaments, and 3D magic pens.

WOL3D has already achieved significant success, with over twenty-five thousand 3D printers sold. Their printers are trusted and used by renowned organizations like ISRO, DRDO, and even OLA. To further enhance their brand presence, WOL3D has opened its first 3D experience center, allowing customers to explore the potential of 3D printing technology.

In the fiscal year 2021-22, WOL3D generated revenue of ₹19.6Cr. Aman Gupta, one of the Sharks, recognized the potential in WOL3D and made an offer of ₹80Lakhs for 2% equity and an additional ₹70Lakhs as debt at a 12% interest rate. Despite the interest shown by other Sharks, their hesitation and uncertainty about the future direction of the company led them to step out of the deal. Ultimately, the deal was closed with Aman Gupta.

What's Up Wellness - Beneficial Gummies for Hair, Skin, and Insomnia

Vaibhav and Sayatani introduced their brand, What's Up Wellness, which offers gummies that promote healthy hair, skin, and even help with insomnia problems. These gummies are designed to provide essential nutrients and vitamins that support overall well-being.

With a customer base of over twenty-five thousand people, What's Up Wellness has established a presence on their website and various marketplaces. The Sharks saw potential in the growing wellness industry and recognized the demand for such products. Anupam, Vineeta, and Aman decided to invest ₹60Lakhs for 4.76% equity in the company.
