ICC Women's T20 World Cup Final, Australia won the Women's T20 World Cup for the sixth time by defeating South Africa by 19 runs in the final at Newlands.

Once again Australia won the ICC T20 World Cup Title - AUS beat SA by 19 runs and captured the 2023 Title

The final match of ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 was played between Australia vs South Africa at Newlands Cape Town. Australia won the toss and chose to bat. The  Australian Team added 36 runs for the first wicket, then Kapp dismissed Healy on his personal score of 18 runs. Mooney and Gardner made a very good partnership for the second wicket and took their team's score to 82 runs. Gardner performed well, scoring 29 runs in 21 balls.

The Australian team struggled to form a substantial partnership and lost wickets consecutively. However, Mooney played an impressive innings, maintaining her composure and securing wickets for her team. Her score of 70 runs in 53 balls helped elevate the team's score to 156. Ismail, the South African fast bowler, performed well, taking two wickets for 26 runs in four overs. Additionally, Kapp, Mlaba, and Tryon each took one wicket.

The South African team was chasing 157 runs and needed a solid start. Unfortunately, they lost their first wicket in the form of Brits, who scored 17 runs in 5 hours. Kapp also did not perform well and was dismissed by Gardner after scoring 11 runs off just 11 balls. The run out of their captain Luus was a major setback for South Africa. However, there was a decent partnership between Wolvaardt and Tryon, who added 55 runs to the team's total. The Australian bowlers, including Schutt, Gardner, Brown, and Jonassen, each took one wicket. 

Beth Mooney was awarded the title of Player of the Match, while Ashleigh Gardner was declared the Player of the Series for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Tournament.
