He has the ability to play in all formats of the game and is particularly well-known for his consistent performance in Test matches. As a left-handed batter-keeper, he brings a unique set of skills to the team. Rishabh Pant came into this world on 4th October 1997 in the city of Roorkee, located in the state of Uttarakhand. He marked his first-class debut in the Ranji Trophy in 2015 and also made his List A debut in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the same year. In the next year while playing in Ranji Trophy against Maharashtra, Pant scored 308 runs in an innings and became the third youngest Indian to score a triple-century in first-class. In 2016, he scored the fastest century in just 48 balls. In 2018, he scored his second fastest century for just 38 balls. Advertisment Rishabh Pant was acquired by the Delhi Daredevils before the 2016 IPL season while he was still playing for India U-19 Cricket World Cup, where he achieved a century. He gained recognition in 2018 after scoring an unbeaten 128 runs off 63 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad, earning the Emerging Player of the Season Award. In 2021, he was appointed as the captain for Delhi Capitals. In 2017, Pant played his first T20I match against England. He then made his Test debut against the same team the following year, scoring his first Test century. His ODI debut came against West Indies. In 2019, during the second Test match against West Indies, Pant became India's fastest keeper to achieve fifty dismissals in Test Cricke. In the 2021 Test match, he became the quickest keeper to reach 1000 runs.
