Know your Cricketer: Rahul Tripathi; a middle order Batter

Rahul Tripathi is a professional Indian cricketer who represents Maharashtra in domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Rahul Ajay Tripathi was born on March 2nd, 1991, in Ranchi, Jharkhand. During the 2018-19 Ranji Season, he emerged as the leading run-scorer with 504 runs in eight matches. He also performed well in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, scoring 157 runs in three innings.

He was purchased by the Rising Pune Supergiants before the IPL Season 2017, and after that, he moved to Rajasthan Royals in 2018. Kolkata Knight Riders acquired him in 2020, and Sunrisers Hyderabad purchased him in 2022.

Tripathi played his first T20I match against Sri Lanka in January 2023.
