Know your Cricketer: Mohsin Khan; Unique Left-Hand Bowler

Mohsin

Mohsin Khan was born on the 15th of July, 1998, in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. He is a Left-Hand batsman, who also bowls Left-Arm Medium-Fast. Mohsin had to overcome a shoulder injury that almost ended his career, but he persevered and seized the opportunities that came his way. He regards Zaheer Khan as his idol and aspires to follow in his footsteps. In preparation for the IPL season 2023, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) acquired Mohsin.

Mohsin's left-handed bowling style sets him apart from other bowlers and allows him to seamlessly fit into any team. He debuted in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2018 and impressed with 13 wickets in 8 games during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy that same year. His Ranji Trophy debut in 2020 saw him take two wickets against Madhya Pradesh.

During the IPL Auctions of 2018, Mumbai Indians purchased a young cricketer for ₹20 Lakh based on his wicket-taking abilities. However, he did not receive an opportunity to play.
