Know Your Cricketer: Ayush Badoni; a Versatile Player

 

Ayush Badoni was born on 3rd December 1999 in Delhi. Ayush is a Right-Hand Batsman bowls Right-Arm Off-Break. He is a versatile player and suitable for lower order batting. Ayush’s favorite Cricketer is AB de Villliers. In 2016, when he was in school, he received an award from Manish Sisodia.
 

In 2018, he scored 52 runs for 28 balls and helped India to win U-19 Asia Cup. In 2021 he made his Twenty20 Debut for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Ahead of IPL Season 2022, he was bought by the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). In the first match played for IPL 2022 against Gujarat Lions where he scored 54 runs.

In an Interview he talked about the half-century he scored against Gujarat Lions during IPL 2022 season.

                         “I wasn’t looking at my score, to be honest. I was only batting as my only target was to play my natural game in the final four overs and that’s why I played slow initially. Before the game, I was extremely nervous, and I couldn’t sleep. But as soon as I hit my first boundary, I knew I belong here.”
