The third match of IPL 2023 season played between Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow. LSG defeated DC by 50 runs.

DC won the toss and opted to field first. While batting first, LSG scored 193 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets. In return, DC scored 143 runs in 20 overs.

LSG was founded in 2021 and is owned by RP Sanjeev Goenka Group. DC was founded in 2008 with the inaugural of IPL and is jointly owned by the GMR Group and the JSW Group, until December 2019, the Team was known as Delhi Daredevils.
