Faf's aggressive approach resulted in a strike rate of 153.68. He hit 96 boundaries, including 60 fours and 36 sixes, in his 475-ball innings.

Mohammed Siraj had an excellent season with the ball for RCB. Despite the absence of Josh Hazlewood for most of the tournament, Siraj showcased his skills and picked up 19 wickets in 14 matches. He maintained an impressive economy rate of 7.50 and emerged as one of the most improved white-ball players in recent years.

Glenn Maxwell's experience proved valuable for RCB throughout the season. In many matches where RCB lost early wickets, Maxwell took on the responsibility and formed crucial partnerships with either Virat Kohli or Faf du Plessis. On the other hand, despite of the top performanaces given by few of the players as mentioned earlier, RCB faced setback in form of Dinesh Karthik and Shavaz Ahmed. Dinesh Karthik, who had a stellar performance in IPL 2022, struggled to replicate his form in IPL 2023. He failed to play any significant innings and could only manage to score 140 runs in 13 games. Karthik's average of 11.66 and a strike rate of 134.61 were far below expectations. In contrast to his impressive hitting ability in the previous season, he hit only five sixes in this edition.

Shahbaz Ahmed, who earned an India call-up after his outstanding performances in IPL 2022, had a disappointing season with both bat and ball. Despite being tried at number three to replace Rajat Patidar, he failed to make an impact. In 10 matches, Ahmed scored just 42 runs and managed to pick up only one wicket. His poor performances led to his mid-season exclusion from the playing eleven.

Previsous Season: Mixed Performances

Despite being one of the most popular teams in the IPL, RCB has yet to secure a title win. However, the team has come close on multiple occasions.
