Strength of RCB
From the start, RCB holds a great batting but in this season they provide it depth by including Harshal, Shahbaz and Hasaranga multi-dimensional T20 players in the Team. Siraj, Josh and Patel are good pace bowlers. Glenn Maxwell, Shahbaz Ahmed and Wanindu Hasaranga form a good spin-bowling core, with Karn Sharma as a reserve.

Weakness of RCB
RCB doesn’t hold any batter who can do attacking batting from the ball 1. Both Virat Kohli and Faf du plessis take their time to get settled into the game and then accelerate themselves into the innings. Allen can do the attacking batting from ball 1 but he is inexperienced to give the top order batting. The absence of Yazuvendra Chahal might be felt if Hasaranga does not come up with best of his abilities.

Performance History of RCB
RCB never won the title of IPL in the previous seasons, they have finished Runner-Up in the year 2009, 2011 and 2016. In the inaugural season of IPL in 2008, RCB was led by Rahul Dravid. They were finished 7th in that year. Under the captaincy of Kevin Pietersen, Team finished as runner-up with standing as 3rd in the year 2009. In the year 2011, under the captaincy of Daniel Vettori, team finished as runner-up after losing to CSK. They were qualified for the 2011 Champions League Twenty20. In the year 2016, Virat Kohli lead the RCB Team where they made it to the finals and finished as runner-up. In the year 2022, the Team was captained by Faf Du Plesis and they were finished as 4th.
