Strength of PBKS
Although PBKS is not known for their smart picks at IPL auction, but this year for the purchasing of Shikhar and Rabada, they must be given credit. With KL Rahul moving to another Team, PBKS found a new opening pair in form of Dhawan and Agarwal. PBKS biggest strength is its big hitters. Players like Bairstow, Livingstone, Shahrukh Khan and Jitesh Sharma are all powerful hitters with healthy strike rates. Domestic players in the Team are also in good form which adds another strength to the Team.

Weakness of PBKS
The is lacking in match winner players. Although the PBKS filled their Team with maximum limit of the players, the lack of enough match-winning players. Also, the Team lacks spin bowling player other than Rahul Chahar, even Chahar did not show convenient performance lately.

Performance History of PBKS
PBKS was established in 2008 with the inaugural season of IPL. The Punjab Kings did win the IPL Title yet. Once they reached the finals in 2014 under the captaincy of George Bailey but finished as runners-up in that season. Earlier the Team was named Kings XI Punjab, but in 2021, ahead of IPL their name was officially changed to Punjab Kings. They faced the expulsion from IPL in the year 2010 due to some controversy. The Team reinstated with the involvement of High Court.
