India and Australia kicked off their three-day one-day series at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. India won the toss and decided to field first. The Australian team managed to score 188 runs in 35.4 overs while batting first. However, India successfully chased the target in 39.5 overs and won the match by 5 wickets. This was India's first win at Wankhede Stadium in 11 years.

KL Rahul played a good innings and scored his 13th fifty, while partnering with Jadeja for a solid partnership of 108 runs. Jadeja contributed an unbeaten 45 runs and was awarded the man of the match. He also took two wickets and caught one. Unfortunately, India's top order struggled in today's match, with the team losing 3 wickets for just 16 runs. Shubman Gill was bowled out for 20 runs, Virat Kohli added only 4 runs, Ishan Kishan was out for 3 runs, and Suryakumar Yadav did not score any runs. Currently, KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya are at the crease and will continue playing tomorrow.

Mitchell Starc managed to secure three wickets, whereas Markus was only able to claim one.

Marnus Labuschagne was dismissed after scoring 16 runs as Ravindra Jadeja took an impressive catch by diving approximately 10 feet to grab the ball hit by Marnus. Josh English, who contributed 26 runs for the Team, was bowled out by Mohammed Shami. Mitchell Marsh scored a remarkable 81 runs, marking his 14th half-century in one day cricket.

The Australian Team lost 3 wickets each to Mohammed Shami and Siraj, while Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik Pandya contributed with 1 wicket each.
